Aaron Crutcher approaching the Torment Forbidden Traverse in North Cascades National Park. The Torment Forbidden Traverse consists of climbing Mount Torment and traversing a steep and technical ridge over to the summit of Forbidden Peak. All told, the route includes steep snow slopes and nearly a mile of rock climbing. Mount Torment is the high point in the center of the photograph, and the ridge to Forbidden traversing out and to the right. Forbidden Peak is not in the photograph.
